I am very joyful and happy that God has worked through you and Anna in Africa. Your presentation Sunday night was humbiling. Seeing those pictures of the Ugandans made me feel so spoiled! I can tell from the picture of Annette that she is a beautiful woman both inwardly and outwardly. Glad that you and Anna got to meet her. The Africa pictures really moved me. The pictures pressed further my desire to be a missionary to Africa. GLORY TO GOD for this trip for you and Anna to go to Africa! Amen.

Preacher ~

Glad to hear everything went well and from reading all your posts God did in fact bless exceeding abundantly above what we could ask or think. Praise be to God for His blessings of ministry opportunities, fellowship with missionaries on the field, protection, health, leading of the Holy Spirit in your preaching, answers to prayer, and much more over the past 3 weeks!! I know that will be a trip Anna will never forget, what a tremendous opportunity for her! I know Samuel is chomping at the bit...

God bless you and your family!

Pastor, I have loved reading these during the duration of your trip. One day I hope God allows me to go to a foreign country too, because it is an eye opener just reading your posts. Your are VERY welcome for having me try and contact your wife or any other family member even though I didn't have much luck getting anything but an answering machine. I look forward to hearing more stories from your adventure.
love always,
Kaitlyn :D

Sounds like you were a great blessing and received as great of one in the refugee camps!
We American wimps need to get over there and experience all of this.
We are blessed beyond belief here, and have the opportunity to use that blessing for God's work.
We can release the desire for that hunting rifle and laptop (or whatever it is you are saving for) and spend $1500 on a plane ticket that will give memories to last a life time, and blessings for eternity!

Do the vehicles break down so often because of the harsh road conditions?
I've never known a Toyota to be that unreliable.
Maybe it's just Satan causing problems, and God using them for good. We never know what would have happened had we not broken down, or something of the like.
I sure am glad that God is Omniscient, and Satan is not!

Thank you for sharing this experience with us. We had a sense of what this post would be like from your expositions on Sunday. Thank you so much for Sunday as well. The pictures and the heartfelt presentation from you and Anna brought the trip to life for me. God is so AWESOME! It is a privilege to have had any part of this ministry.

Love, Mark and Pauli
